Dooz is a luxury handbag brand that redefines the intersection of art, design, and sustainability. Founded by Rachel Borghard, the collection takes cues from architecture, fine art, and industrial design—distilled into sculptural silhouettes that blur the line between accessory and object. Rachel’s background in multidisciplinary design informs every detail. She earned a BFA in Fashion Design from Pratt Institute and studied furniture design at the Danish Royal Academy in Copenhagen. Her design sensibility was further honed through experience in the luxury fashion space, with roles at Gabriela Hearst and heritage leather house Ghurka. Each Dooz bag is a study in form and function: minimal yet expressive, grounded in craftsmanship, and made to last.

Each Dooz bag is crafted from supple Italian Nappa leather and suede—materials chosen for their luxurious feel, strength, and ability to age beautifully. Our leathers are sourced from tanneries that prioritize environmental responsibility and ethical practices.

Every detail is considered, down to the hardware. Our custom gold- and silver-plated brass components are made exclusively for Dooz in Italy, adding a sculptural finish that elevates each piece.
