Where do you live/where are you from?
I’ve been in Park Slope for 7 years! I’m from Middletown, Connecticut (where Wesleyan University is).
What do you do for work? Does your sign play into your career at all?
I lead US influencer marketing for Google Hardware. Astrology definitely plays into my day to day at work. Capricorns are organized, responsible and very level-headed – all of which are required for a super cross-functional, partner heavy, sometimes high-stress, job.
Do you gravitate towards certain signs as friends/collaborators/partners?
I’m obsessed with Virgos – so this interview timing is super apropos. Every time I meet someone that I’m immediately drawn to, they’re usually a Virgo. I have a ton of earth sign friends/collaborators (Virgos, Taurus’, other Caps). I have a lot of Gemini energy in my life from a work perspective. Romantically, I’m looking for a Virgo or Scorpio but I always end up with Libras lol.
What’s a typical morning look like for you? How does astrology play into that?
Capricorns LOVE routine, so I’m definitely a true Capricorn in the sense that every morning looks the same. I get an iced red eye at Cafe Grumpy in Park Slope and walk my dog, Yoda, for about an hour. Sometimes I take calls on my walk or I’ll just use that time to think and listen to NPR Politics or The Daily podcast. After that, I’ll work out and jump into meetings for the day. Since my team is largely on the west coast, my workday usually begins around 11am.
How, if at all, does astrology impact your daily life? Do you read your horoscope?
Oh, astrology heavily affects my day to day. I know my entire team’s zodiac signs (and honestly have done most of their birth chart readings) and I think about how that affects our dynamics and decision making daily. I also check the Pattern and Co-Star religiously.
What does the work day look like for you? Does your zodiac sign help you out?
Being a Capricorn definitely helps me in my work day. I'm typically in meetings from 11am - 7 or 8pm, so I need to be super organized and efficient with my time so I'm able multitask.

Having real impact – I’m working on a side project that I’m super energized by called Up To Us, which is all about inspiring Gen-Z (and honestly everyone) to register to vote.

What books are on your nightstand right now?
There’s a full stack that I haven’t gotten to yet because of work (#Capricorn lol). Most are recommendations from my energy healer, Kalisa – The Untethered Soul and How to be an Adult in Relationships. I have also been meaning to read A Man’s Search for Meaning because Suzy Baitz said so.
Current playlist/songs on repeat?
I live an die by Spotify Discover. Right now I’ve been oscillating between Octavian, Elvis and the new Juice WRLD album. I’m all over the place with music.
What’s your one beauty secret?
UGH, so hard to pick one! Probably Environ – it’s changed my life.
How do you unwind/decompress at the end of the day?
I have a meditation practice and I also am obsessed with the New York Times crossword.
Are you watching/have you recently watched anything you’d recommend?
Honestly, I don’t watch a ton of TV. I just finished West Wing [finally] and it was so therapeutic.
What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekends?
Honestly, catch up on work / anything I haven’t been able to do during the week on my own time. I live and die by my calendar during the week, so I try to just keep my weekends fluid.
Any given day is incomplete without…?
A lot of cold brew and a long walk
How do you style the DOOZ Sweater-T?
My style is pretty simple and easy going in terms of clothing. I love these white Ronny Kobo suit pants with the Capricorn Olive Sweater-T. I’m obsessed with jewelry and don’t take it off. My collection is a mix of brands and new with vintage. A few of my chains are my grandmothers and one is Wendy Nichol – my dear friend and favorite designer.
What are your favorite DOOZ pieces? Which color(s) do you gravitate towards, even if they’re not signs in your chart.
I’m obsessed with the Celeste bag in the Capricorn and Pisces color way. I’m loving those shades of green these days. The Scorpio sweater-tee is so cute too - I love the Scorpio symbol.
